Taking a hiatus for a bit. I'll be back when I feel like it. Until then, see ya.

Yo! Just finished Supanova, where I got to sell my art and interact with lots of cool people. It's given me better insight as well what people really gravitate to in my art, so that's been good for feedback going forward.

As a general heads up for the new year, I have a couple things planned. My main aim is to finish off any outstanding projects I currently have so as to start afresh come 2024. I just personally feel that my style and process can be greatly improved, and I want to chiefly focus on that. Certain areas of my art have gotten stale to me, and I want to freshen them up with a new sense of polish and focused direction, as opposed to my usual spur-of-the-moment way of doing things.

Next year will be my semi-final year of uni, so there will be a lot on my plate. This means I might have to put things on the backburner. Despite that I'll still continue to post here and there. I enjoy social media most when it feels casual, as I don't enjoy feeling obligated or forced to draw something that I'm not passionate about. I want to have fun with art, and to do that I want to do it on my own terms.

That being said, when next Supanova rolls around I should be attending again, as I had a lot of fun with this one. By then I hopefully will have re-organized my branding and overall direction.

My main, outstanding goal is this: Solidifying my identity.

Obviously you never really stop growing and changing, but I really want to knuckle down on who I am and what I want to do, both in my real life and with my art. Once I've gotten a more solid base I think everything will start to slot into place a lot easier. That's all for now though.

Tschuss.

Hey! Got some updates.

Going back to University again tomorrow for the latter half of this year. Gonna be super busy, so I probably won't have as much time to focus on new works as I have in the last few weeks. I'm also thinking of trying to get back into making YouTube videos again, so that might eat up time as well.

It's not all doom and gloom however, as I've got some big plans for later this year. (If you live near Brisbane) I'll hopefully be hosting an art stall at SuperNova 2023, although it's still too early so no details.

As for Newgrounds, I've got a few more things that I should finish soon that I'll upload, and I still intend to make regular content on here. I've been considering dipping back into NSFW art, but I want to personally make sure my work is up to a standard that I'm happy with before then. (This would include both normal humans AND furries)

This also goes in hand with commissions. Without diving into too much, money problems are looming on the horizon for me, and without a full or part-time job currently, it's not looking too hot.

So, if you like my art and want to consider commissioning me, please hit the follow button and keep updated! I don't know when I'll open for comms, but if/when I do I'll try and have a price sheet and all relevant details available.

Or this could all just be a pipe-dream and I'll abandon society and become the next Uni-Bomber, who knows.

Thanks for reading!

Working on some new stuff atm, mainly fanart of characters I like etc. I've been struggling with finding confidence in my art recently, as I haven't been consistently drawing and uploading for months at this point, or pointedly trying to improve my art through practice and using reference. These are what have been holding me back, and so I'm planning to make an active effort to improve and draw more often. University and personal reasons have been delaying me in terms of motivation, and to be honest I simply haven't come across anything that has inspired me.

I really love Newgrounds, and it's been very exciting with the amount of amazing artists on here. I feel that I missed out somewhat on the initial boom a few years ago, but I see that as an opportunity instead to make a fresh break with my art going forward, and to dedicate more of my time to creating content for both Newgrounds and myself. (Never going back to Twitter, nor DeviantArt either)

If you have any ideas for characters or ways you think I could improve, let me know in the comments of this post!
